Exciting Super Bowl Games

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

I adore football and soccer, but I’m sure that not everybody does. What I find fantastic is that there are some that may not watch one single regular season game, but they then tune in for the playoffs and the Super Bowl. Some only watch the championship game yearly, but ignore soccer the remainder of the year. The explanations for this is going to be easy and comical too. We like competition, and we like a big vision. This game is something which has both in spades. I watch soccer throughout the year, but I’m really not always interested by the Super Bowl. For many like me, we may watch it, but something is lost if we do not care much about either of the teams concerned. However, if a team is hated, we will cheer for the other team, and that may put some excitement back in the game. The day of the game nearly becomes its own vacation.

On the opposite side of the coin, those that love sports but do not care much for soccer will like the Super Bowl regardless of who is playing. They may not care who is playing, they just wish to see some good competition going on.

The opposite side of the Super Bowl is the fellowship and the party. Nearly everyone watching will either go to or host a party on that Sunday. Most gather for the game, but some will just tag along for the fun, and to have a first peek at some of the commercials that air for the first time on that day.

Those alone have changed into a convention, and are debated nearly as much as the game itself.
